If you pay for it yourself

If you would like to pay for an examination and possible treatment yourself, you do not need a referral from your General Practitioner (except for diagnostic imaging). Just contact Aleris outpatient service to book your appointment. You will then receive a written confirmation.

Referral needed for imaging

To book an appointment at our diagnostic imaging department (X-ray, ultrasound, MR scan and CT scan), you will need a referral from a doctor. This may be your own GP or one of our specialists at Aleris.

Treatment/surgery

If your doctor at Aleris informs you that you need to undergo treatment/surgery that can be performed at our facilities, we will organise it with you to find a date that fits into your calendar. You will then receive the practical information.

Payment for surgery

When booking for surgery is registered, payment needs to be done no later than 14 days before the planned date of surgery. The payment can be in cash or by a bank transfer and must be registered with us in accordance with agreement. Please note that we do not accept cash payments of an amount above DKK 19,999, cf. Act on Measures to Prevent Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism. The date of payment will appear on the invoice. The receipt for payment is to be shown when arriving. With the lack of payment, we will cancel your surgery and you will be charged with a fine of the amount of DKK 5,000.
